COVID-19: Pakistan extends lockdown until April 30

Prime Minister Imran Khan on 14th March, announced another two-week extension in an ongoing lockdown following rising numbers of coronavirus cases in the country. After a meeting of the National Coordination Committee -- a body formed to deal with the coronavirus crisis.  Khan told a news conference in the capital Islamabad.  "We, after consulting all the provinces, have decided that the ongoing lockdown will continue until April 30,"

Who is exempted under two-week extended lockdown?
Federal Minister for Industries and Production explained the exemptions and mechanism of the two-week extension in the countrywide lockdown shortly after Prime Minister announced it. All “Essential Services,” which also includes Port & Shipping Operation would continue to enjoy exemption as given earlier, their operations would continue as usual.  

Flight operations to remain suspend till April 21
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) made the announcement on Thursday April 2, evening. Both international and domestic flights will remain grounded as part of the extension till April 21, 2020 - 2359 PST.  In view of extended suspension of flight operation, this would extinguish any possibility of crew change at Pakistani sea ports.
